We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. The initial trial period will involve working 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and other related contracts.
• Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including title and survey reviews, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Advise clients on real estate-related legal matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing of commercial and residential properties.
• Coordinate with other professionals such as brokers, title companies, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Provide legal support for closings and ensure that all transaction details are properly documented and completed in a timely manner.
• Research and stay updated on changes in real estate law, zoning laws, and regulations affecting transactions.
• Handle any disputes or litigation that may arise during real estate transactions, providing expert legal advice to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage and streamline the transactional process.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in GA.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactional law, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and residential real estate law.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Trial Period Details:

During the initial temp period, the attorney will work 25 hours per week . The temp period will be an opportunity to demonstrate expertise and fit within the team, with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent position, working a full week.
