Medical Billing Specialist
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Remote Position - Initial training will be conducted in Utah (in-person)

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play an essential role in ensuring our clinic's financial processes run smoothly. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual who is ready to take on the important task of managing billing operations related to patient accounts and insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify insurance claims for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to insurance companies.
Confirm insurance coverage for patients undergoing fertility treatments, ensuring billing aligns with insurance policies and guidelines.
Generate and process accurate invoices for services provided, including consultations, treatments, procedures, and medications.
Promptly address claim denials and rejections by identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
Post payments from patients and insurance companies into the billing system, ensuring account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of billing activities, insurance claims, payments, and patient interactions in compliance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with administrative staff, medical personnel, and insurance providers to resolve billing issues and enhance reimbursement processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline billing procedures, improve efficiency, and elevate the overall patient billing experience.
Address patient inquiries regarding billing issues or concerns with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Self-motivated team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel (preferred).
Basic understanding of insurance authorization processes (preferred).
Relevant financial or billing experience (preferred).
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
