Job Description: Live In or Live Out Housekeeper

Salary:$40-45 per hour, plus overtime, Healthcare and 401k

Schedule: Full-time, 5-6 days a week, rotating schedule

Location: Gold Coast, North Shore of Long Island

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper who have experience working in fine elegant homes for UHNW families. This is a prominent estate on the Gold Coast of Long Island. A key requirement is availability for 5-6 days a week, scheduled rotation, with the flexibility to work afternoon or evening shifts. You will be one of six housekeepers

Key Requirements:

• Attributes : The ideal candidate should be able to anticipate needs, maintain a positive disposition, and enjoy working harmoniously with others. Flexibility, initiative, professionalism, and high trustworthiness are essential.
• Experience : Demonstrable ten consistent years, excluding the COVID years, of experience as a housekeeper in ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) homes, with a solid working knowledge of fine artwork, furniture, fabrics, and surfaces.
• Attributes : The ideal candidate should be able to anticipate needs, maintain a positive disposition, and enjoy working harmoniously with others. Flexibility, initiative, professionalism, and high trustworthiness are essential.
• Physical Fitness : Must be physically fit, able to climb ladders, and comfortably walk up three flights of stairs. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Professionalism : Ability to maintain discretion and sophistication in daily interactions.
• Collaboration : Willingness to cover overlapping roles and responsibilities, especially during vacations.

Requirements:

• UHNW Family Estates and/or Experience in luxury hotels
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of formal service
• Ability to maintain high-level finishes with meticulous attention to detail
• Proactive and professional attitude
• Team player with a polished demeanor
• Must be fluent in English
• 3-5 years working for the same principal

Primary Responsibilities:

This candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the home is generally cleaned every day, with routine deep cleaning of every room

Laundry and ironing,

Light seamstress

Flowers and plants, and groceries

Daily opening procedures and walk-through house checks

Vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, and floor care

Dusting all surfaces, furniture, corners, trim

Regular dusting of clothing closets

Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms

Clean kitchen, unload dishwashers, etc., as the kitchen is used most evenings

Special care applied to maintain fine finishes and furnishings, use of correct products & methods.

Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure security and cleanliness.

Shop for household supplies as needed
