Live-in  Housekeeper (Wed-Sun)

Salary: $30 - $35 per hour

Schedule:   Wednesday – Sunday 

Hours: 7am – 7pm with multiple breaks during the day. Must be able to work 50 - 60 hours per week
Weekends are required on occasion as part of the schedule. 

Accommodation :   While working, the chosen candidate will be able to have their own private bedroom bathroom within the residence. 

Description

A private family seeks to hire an experienced Housekeeper to assist with the daily maintenance of a very formal household. Must be very loving and like working with a house full of pets (cats and dogs) and must be willing to help with pet care. Must have a hospitality and service mindset, and a can-do attitude. 

Responsibilities : 

• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence bedroom and bathrooms; vacuuming, dusting, sanitization, proper garbage disposal, bed making and organizing of bedrooms. 
• Laundry: Laundering all clothes 
• Ironing and organization of clothes and placing them in all proper closets or storage based on the season
• Overseeing organizing projects in the residence, and creating smart storage solutions for the family
• Assist with travel packing / unpacking 
• Assist with meal service 
• Pet care
• Cleaning up pet play areas 
• Grooming pets
• Must be extremely hands-on 
• Assist with errands as needed 
• Working as part of a household team (This role reports directly to the House Manager) 
• Working alongside another full-time housekeeper 

Requirements :

• Minimum of 3 years related private home experience
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have a strong command of the English 
• Prior experience with care for multiple children 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Flexibility with hours and scheduling
• Strong swimming skills to occasionally monitor kids in the swimming pool
• Must have United States work authorization
• Valid driver’s license (must be a confident driver)
