Job Summary:

This is a driving position with administrative and loading duties. Daily routes can be up to, but not limited to, 8 hours on the road. The position is responsible for driving a van or box truck to deliver products.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a van or box truck for product delivery.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete the DVIR log.
• Always adhere to road rules and DOT regulations.
• Protect money and assets by following cash handling guidelines.
• Promptly address delivery or customer concerns to the Distribution Supervisor.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before departure.
• Effectively communicate with customers, including pre-delivery calls and post-delivery updates.
• Collaborate with the Distribution and Sales teams on order-related issues.
• Provide top-tier customer service during each delivery.
• Review orders with customers, ensuring product accuracy and handling any rejections.
• Record customer payment details accurately for each delivery.
• Follow safety standards and report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor.
• Ensure all delivery manifests are signed, and compliance is maintained.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and valid insurance.
• The driver will be required to demonstrate proof of these documents on a regular basis.
• Must have a positive and professional attitude and be a team player.
• Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency.
• Ability to safely operate a delivery van in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Reliability to show up on time and as scheduled is a must.
• Aptitude to learn and use new technology.
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.

Education and Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1+ year of professional driving experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to drive for up to 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
