KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE is now accepting applications for a creative, energetic, and outgoing PART-TIME BARISTA at THE ROASTED ROOSTER COFFEE SHOP, to make and serve coffee, smoothies, and specialty drinks. This position will interact with Village guests, spreading happiness and delivering delicious beverages, and excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting, and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
2. Greet every guest throughout the Roasted Rooster in a positive and professional manner.
3. Skill and efficiency to create quality coffee drinks, smoothies, and specialty drinks.
4. Follow opening, closing, and daily operating/cleaning procedures.
5. Participate in daily sales promotions to achieve shop goals.
6. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
7. Accurately handle money transactions and interact with guests in a positive manner.
8. Balance deposits against daily sales and report any overages or shortages to the Roasted Rooster Captain.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job requires being on your feet for up to eight hours at a time. You must be able to walk at a brisk pace from location to location for a full day’s shift. You may be asked to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds and use a stepstool. Twisting, bending, reaching, stooping, or kneeling is required. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers/fax machines, cash drawers, and filing cabinets. Can be hectic and fast-paced. The noise level is sometimes loud. Temperatures can vary.
