Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and dependable Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, the ability to respond to security concerns quickly, and a commitment to providing a safe environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of premises.
• Investigate disturbances, respond to alarms, and communicate effectively with emergency services if necessary.
• Maintain surveillance of property using CCTV systems and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
• Provide assistance and directions to guests and employees, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.
• Prepare and submit detailed incident reports as required.
• Assist in enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to maintain order on the property.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Proficient in using surveillance equipment and security systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
