Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct AML investigations and transaction monitoring to identify and report suspicious activities.
  • Perform KYC checks to verify customer identity and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and process payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to AML and compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify information necessary for compliance reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required for audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay informed of AML regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
  • Escalate potential compliance issues to the appropriate department or manager as needed.
  • Support the continuous improvement of AML and KYC processes by providing input and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in AML, KYC, or payment processing in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations, KYC requirements, and payment processing procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with AML/KYC software tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CKYCA) are an asset but not required.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Onsite work model: 100% In office
